Summit Overview

Why this conversation matters

Attend our one-day summit on air quality, health, and solutions for safer homes.

Many people are unaware that common home appliances, such as gas stoves, furnaces, and water heaters, can affect the air we breathe indoors. Research has linked combustion of natural gas with increased health risks, especially for children, older adults, and people with asthma or other respiratory conditions.

This summit will bring together residents, community leaders, health professionals, researchers, and policymakers to explore the latest scientific findings, discuss what it means for our community, and identify solutions.

Whether you are interested in public health, climate change, or creating healthier homes, we invite you to join the conversation.

02

About the Summit

One day. Multiple perspectives. A practical look at where the research, the clinic, the policy table, and the community meet.

Participants will hear from leading researchers and health experts about the latest evidence on the health impacts of burning natural gas indoors. We will also discuss emerging technologies, programs, and policies that contribute to healthier homes.

Health experts, policymakers, scientists, industry professionals, and community members will discuss how these scientific findings can inform real-world decisions, from behaviors to public policy

Through presentations, interactive discussions, and demonstrations, attendees will gain knowledge about indoor air quality, public health, and access to clean energy solutions.
